Specimen notes
Public Note:
Looks like it should be a Bolbitius. Cap viscid. Dried gills a buff colour (paler than most inocybes). Cap a clamped cutis 8um diam, thin walled, minutely encrusted. Spores nodulose. Pleuro and cheilo cystidia crystal encrusted and strongly metuloid. Spores 8-9.5(8.9) SD0.5 n=10 x 4.2-5.4(4.7) SD0.5 n=10 (width across constricted waist). despite smaller stature and paleness of gills this must be an uncharacteristically fragile specimen of this distinctive Inocybe. Small cap and equal stem, c.f. scissa.
