Specimen notes
Public Note:
with pendant ring, orange felty on undersurface, striate white on upper surface. Cap of elongate hyphae, with orange veilar remnants at perimeter. Spores thick-walled, without germ pore. I thought this was a stropharia but obviously a small Agaricus. Cheilocytida not macroscopically obvious, simple, clavate. 4-spored. 5.8-6.8(6.3) SD0.3 n=14 x 4.1-4.8(4.4) SD0.2 n=14. Schaeffer on dried material looks positive - orange/red.
