Specimen notes
Public Note:
spore print cream. Looks identical to Egon's ZT0882 (as Collybia). Cap a cutis with extra-cellular pigment, sub-cutis partially gelatinised, with oleiferous hyphae, clamped, gills with tangles of oleiferous hyphae next to gill edge (pseudocystidia?), 4-spored, there are lots of dextrinoid spores on cap and gill edge but odd as only some content is dextrinoid, leaving apiculus hyaline, at first sight making these spores look truncate. However none of spores in print are in the slightest dextrinoid! All of this noted for Rhodocollybia by Lennox Mycotaxon. Spores 7.4-8.6(8) SD0.5 n=10 x 3.4-4.4(3.9) SD0.3 n=10. In the butyracea section. See also see also my collections of 'Lepiota purpurata' for another Rhodocollybia. [August 2010 - decided it's the same taxon]
