Specimen notes
Public Note:
without clamps, 4-spored (some 2?), no median spot on septum of cheilocystidia (but still looks like excissa-type rather than brevipes), cap an gelatinised trichoderm, with oleiferous hyphae, no pleurocystidia Spores 8.8-11(9.7) SD0.7 n= 12 x5.3-6.9(6.1) SD0.5 n= 11. M. excissa again? The creamish gills look closer to cognata but that without crystals on cystidia. Cleland's M. fusca looks similar from description - except apical crystals are relatively short. Grgurinovich didn't compare with other taxa when redescribing Cleland's specimens. material missing?
