Specimen notes
Public Note:
Starting white and progressivley staining orange - as images show. Dried material tan coloured. Cheilocystidia very lecythiform to shortly moniliform. Pleurocystidia absent. Spores 4x2um inamyloid. Cap with thin-walled collapsing cells. With oleiferous hyphae. C. hetieri is described as bruising reddish. No cystidia or exudate looking yellow in KOH. C. oregonensis with yellow exudate, adulterina with long moniliform cystidia. Fits this European taxon also recorded for US and Australia (by Aberdeen) - if all the same taxon. New to NZ. Reported to MAF 2/07/2010
