Public Note:
Dried material smells strongly of fenugreek. Clamps absent. Stipe tissue monomitic. Spores spiny, globose. Tissue greenish in KOH. See Stalpers. Again not smelling of aniseed. P. niger and nothofagi have dimitic stipe tissue.
