Public Note:
readii. Cap 2-5cm, stem 2-3cm x 3mm convex, becoming plane and slightly upturned, small central umbo. Characteristic dark felty veining on yellow background. Stem base arising from felty sock and stem base with brown caulocystidia. Cap background colour = F. Taste neutral. Gills drying slamon - not bright pink. Cap cells filamentous, with numerous oleiferous hyphae, terminal hyphae broad club-shaped with intra-cellular brown pigment, all similar. No clamps. Occasional vesiculolose brown content cheilocystidia, no pleurocystidia, spores dimorphic (2 & 4 spored basidia? not seen). P. readarum but without pleurocystidia with fingers.
