Specimen notes
Public Note:
same as 10085 & 9947. Taste mild. No smell. Spores amyloid 7x4um, thin-walled, 4-spored, tissue clamped, gill trama dextrinoid, cap hyphae a ramealis trichoderm, thick-walled, glassy, antler-like. Has a look of Resinomycena but that northern hemisphere and stipitate. Colony white, with crystals, clamped. To ICMP 7/8/06. This 9326 & 10085 are all consistently smaller than the northen hemisphere (and Oz) descriptions of P. stypticus, not so soft and don't exude milk (as mentioned by Fuhrer). Not P. mitis either. This distinctive taxon needs a name. According to Egon this may be the same as his collections ZT 2016 (Leptosp. scoparium) and ZT 2023 (Noth. truncata), altho places those in Marasmiellus without amyloid spores.
