Specimen notes
Public Note:
on a tussock-forming indigenous grass. With gelatinous sticky separable pellicle, hygrophanous. Stem generally fibrous but some pubescent. Pleurocytidia without brown content, spores amygdaliform in face view, spores thin-walled, pleurocystidia absent, section pratense, spores 8-9x5. Close to subviscida but has generally thinner stem and more robust (than previous collection at least). Haven't come to P. novaezelandiae because that is described under beech in litter (not on grass stems) and with non-seperable pellicle. Guzman mentions mucronate cystidia. Neither feature mentioned in Johnston paper. Culture with clamps. To ICMP 7/8/06
