Public Note:
stem dry, no chrysocystidia, spores hexagonal, 15-17x9.5-10um, very thick walled. no distinct ring on stem. FAN4 & BFF5 to coprophila, and as with other NZ collection, this has longer spores. See also P. argentina auct NZ. Cheilocystidia forming a white sterile edge, sinuous and agglutinated into pyramidal bundles in Melzers, which unbundle in KOH. Spores noticebly dextrinoid in Melzers.Sequences say D. coprophila. Keys to P. argentina sensu Johnston
