Specimen notes
Public Note:
Clearly same as 10076. Taste mild, cap darkening with KOH, innately fibrillose. Gills umber on dried specimens. Chrysocystidia unequivocal and present as pleurocystidia [later comment: are they still yellow in water!]. Cheilocystidia hyaline (subgenus Pholiota sensu Holec). Pigment strongly encrusting cap hyphae, oleiferous hyphae present, clamps inconspicuous. Sub cutis gelatinised. Central tissue of gill trama yellow (in KOH), spores smooth, thick-walled, with pore 8.5x5.5um. Relationship between this an P. multicingulata needs assessing.
