Melanocephala with basal frills to conidia, not crespedodidymum, sporochisma with distinct venter, sporochismopsis close to catenularia. latter with no septa - separation seems a bit arbitrary. Conidia in chains, 33 x 20um. Conidiophore proliferating. Associated clubs not on slide prep. This is Hughes' C. longispora. Not collected since 1963 and from exactly the same locality.
