Specimen notes
Public Note:
wavy edge to cap and purple colour to gills. Cap drying buff-saffron, gills drying vinaceous grey. white tomentium on lower part of stem contrasting against pink of stem when drying. Seems to be 1-2-3-4 spored (or at least maturing at different times). largest spores 10-12um with small spines, ~1um. Macroscopically like L. purpureobadia but this with globose not ellipsoid spores, and filiform cheilocystidia. Has same features as specimens id previously as fraterna and now considered to be pumila. Re-identifying as L. pumila - but with reservation.
