3.5cm - 8(12)cm with distinct central sharp umbo. Gills free. Same as previous collection from here. Taste mild. Gill edge minutely fimbriate. Cap with fine adpressed fibrils, drying shiny and cuticle easily flaked off, not discolouring in KOH. Tissue clamped. Spores without germ pore 10 -15 x 7um. Pleurocystidia absent. Cheilocystidia in tufts, variable in shape, predominantly cylindrical 60 x 15um, frequently septate. Basidia 25 x 8um 4-spored. Spore print fulvous-cinnamon (agrocybe-like). What is this?! A giant Inocybe? Egon H thinks an Inocybe. Comes out in the I. rimosa complex. Partial forward LSU indicates same as JQ408776 I. cf rimosa from USA Quercus/Pine
