Public Note:
red/orange rather than tan/orange. Note peripheral band of paler cells from which hairs arise. Hairs to 1mm x 40um at broadest, ventricose, multifurcate (at different levels), 21 septate, wall width 8um, lower level hairs shorter. Spores 22 x 13um. Either this or badioberbis. Has apothecium colour of scutellata but spore ornamentation of badioberbis. and is probbaly S. crinita given other idents of Scutellinia from this site.
