Specimen notes
Public Note:
Umbilicate, to 1cm diam. no smell, gills veined and forked, cap and stem covered in fine hairs. Spores inamyloid 10 x 5um ellipsoid/cylindrical. Very few cheilocystidia but like cap. Cap filamentous, with oleiferous hyphae and stag's horn dryophila structure intermixed with hair-like cystidia, no clamps. Stem cortex dextrinoid, with hair-like caulocystidia. Horak doesn't key. Largent Marasmius/Marasmiellus. Pileus not a hymeniderm so not Gloiocephala/marasmius. For Antonin Marasmiellus has institious stem (but then includes sp. that don't have that). Doesn't key in Singer 73 as a marasmiellus.
