Public Note:
Caulocystidia of mostly irregular ellipsoid cells, no hairs observed, very few lecythiform elements. Surely section Pilosellae, not Mixtae? 4-spored. Stipe not radicant, but slightly enlarged at base. Cheilocystidia small, capitulum 3um. Spores with germ pore. A few short hair-like pilocystidia present. Spores 16 x 9um. Fits with pubescens apart from sparsity of lecythiform caulos.
