Public Note:
marginal hair length 1mm, width 23um with thick walls to 5um, multiseptate, inconspicuous roots, ventricose. Spores 22 x 13um. Colensoi has very long and broad hairs (>35um wide) and spore width < 12um. Kerguelensis has short hairs (to 400) with 4 septa at most and spore width > 14um.
