Specimen notes
Public Note:
taste mild. Gills with much interveining and decurrent. Trama clamped, spores white, inamyloid,7-9 x 5um. Basidia 25um long, 4-spored. No cystidia. Cutcicle a cutis, clamped, extra-cellular encrustaiton, thin-walled 6.5um diam. A tentative identification given the difference in cap diam./stem length. Spore/basidia ratio on edge of what is acceptable for Hygrophoraceae. Sequence says this is in Cuphophyllus
