Phylogenetically a Pezizellaceae sp., small, sessile, gregarious discs, yellow discs sitting amongst poorly developed, subiculum-like hyphae. Asci clavate with long basal stalk, 80-90 x 10-13 µm (p.sp. 45-50 µm), no croziers, wall barely thickened at apex, J+; spores elliptic, tapering evenly to rounded ends, 1-septate, slightly constricted at septum, 12.5-16 x 4-5.5 (avge 14.6 x 4.7 µm),
