Specimen notes
Public Note:
Spores smooth 8.5 x 5um, thick walled, without germ pore. Cap hyphae clamped. Caulo-pleuro-cheilocystidia thick walled and mucronate with crystals, wall very thick, to 4um, and yellowing in KOH. The whole stem is white with long mucronate cystidia. I originally thought this was a galerina or phaeomarasmius but it has to be an Inocybe (and gills are chocolate brown rather than brighter). An odd coloured Inocybe?! I.strigiceps E.H.
