Specimen notes
Public Note:
stipe with basal tomentum (but really a disc?). Spores inamyloid (or extermely weakly so), not dextrinoid, 7.1 x 4.4um, cylindrical. Pileipellis a cutis, (ixo?) with short finger-like extensions and fewer longer pilocystidia, over dextrinoid cells large ovoid 50 x 33um. Gill edge with a layer that looks like cap (definitely!), with same ornamentation. A couple of acuminate pleurocystidia seen. Stem dry, no latex, gill edge concolorous, stipe attached to base by hairs. Gill edge not separable, cap not mealy-floccose, section polyadelphia. Grgurinovic to albidocapillaripes but unlikely. This species requires a sequence. Sequence was too short but confirms this is 'Rotokuru Lakes'.
