Public Note:
drying white with pale flesh coloured gills. Gill edge floccose, cap white fibrous. Spores clearly metachromatic internally with unaffected wall . length=7.5–8.9µm (µ=8.2, σ=0.48), width=4.4–5.0µm (µ=4.7, σ=0.21), Q=1.5–1.9µm (µ=1.76, σ=0.15), n=7 and again length=6.7–7.6µm (µ=7.1, σ=0.25), width=3.6–5.0µm (µ=4.0, σ=0.30), Q=1.4–2.0µm (µ=1.76, σ=0.13), n=20. dextrinoid, no germ pore (not even visible as metachromatic plug), cuticle filamentous, thin-walled, unclamped, to 6.6um diam, differntiated terminal elemnts few, possibly partially gelatinised. NM2 to sericeomyces. Horak NZ fails as all genera like leucocoprinus, lepiota, leucoagaricus he has as clamped, whereas for Singer Sericeomyces, Leuoagaricus, Leucocprinus are unclamped. Singer also to Sericeomyces. For Vellinga in FAN5 it is subsumed within Leucoagaricus. This keys close to L. serenus but is unrelated.
