Public Note:
cutis lacking spherical elements, a trichoderm of broad hyphae, clamped. Spores length=5.5–6.7µm (µ=6.2, σ=0.30), width=3.5–4.0µm (µ=3.8, σ=0.18), Q=1.5–1.8µm (µ=1.65, σ=0.11), n=20 rough, can't see plage, so not phaeomarasmius, no sphaerocysts so not flammulaster. Dried cap becoming dark red/black in KOH. Cheilocystidia in chains. Blyth Track #3. Same taxon collected elsewhere on this foray. Has to be a Cortinarius.
