Specimen notes
Public Note:
small entoloma with lilac grey cap and stem, umbonate and striate at margin. Spores 10 x 6um heterodiametrical. Small portion of gill edge grey/blue (at least near cap edge in some gills). Kerr to melanocephalum (with greenish colours), atrellum or decolorans (concolorous gill edge). The cheilocystidia are cylindrical and chained. This has to be decolorans. Stature and spores fit. Appears quite pale for this and description says not striate. Hiddenforest pictures seem closer to stature of melanocephalum. Kamai Bush photo correct statute but doesn't have blue cap. Hirak now treats decolorans as a synonym of E. melanocephalum, except, like other candidates for that species, it does not have the same sequence as a Horak specimen.
