Public Note:
host id. David Glenny. Fruitbody to 5mm tall with distinct fertile white cylindrical head which is fertile to the tip. Stalk dark and twisted cartilaginous. Not clear if hairs on stem are contaminant. No sclerotia (checked several). Spores non-amyloid 8.5(-13)x 5-6.5um apiculate, smooth. Keys to Berthier's (1976) 'residuelle' but not included. Close to T. erythropus macroscopically - but that with sclerotia. Sp. Nov.?
