Public Note:
This has green, smooth conidia and looks like a synnematous Aspergillus. Sp. nov.? Synnema 400-500 µm tall. Stipe 25 µm wide, dark brown, expanded at base to 100 µm wide, stipe cells septate, 1.5-2µm broad, prosenchymatous, smooth, dark brown, thick-walled, becoming olivaceous towards the apex. Head expanded, semi-globose to 200 µm wide, surrounded by a fringe of hairs, pale grey-olivaceous, 3 µm diam, slightly verrucose. Conidiogenous cells phialidic, pale brown, possibly in metuloid heads. Conidia globose, smooth, olivaceous, 1.5-2 µm.
