Specimen notes
Public Note:
Terminal cap cuticle hyphae smooth, no zebra incrustation. Base of stem rhubarb colours but not orange.
Cap drab, felty, red underneath, maturing to clay buff with broad cracks and straw flesh under. Flesh white.
Pores yellow bruising blue. Stem smooth, concolorous with pores at apex, becoming red to base. Stem not hollow and base bruising blue.
