Public Note:
Agaricus c.f. porphyrocephalus. Clustered. Cap to 6cm diam., stem 5.5 cm x 12mm. Smell faint. Stem with vinaceous flush at apex, bulbous at base. Cap with dark-brown apressed fibrils. Ring hanging down. Spores 3.5 x 5.5um long ellipsoid. Sterile edge to gills but cheilocystidia not obvious. Flesh remaining white. Close to vaporarius and porphyrocephalus. See also 9481 and zt0931
