Public Note:
Cap to 5cm diam. Gill trama regular. Spores strongly dextrinoid.
Stem 5mm diam with bulbous base and slightly yellowing, 5-6cm high, with prominent ring.
Spores with metachromatic endospore (not totally convinced but centre of spore certainly picks up stain).
Cap smooth.
European concensus is that leucothites = naucinus and these should be synonymised in NZFUNGI.
