Public Note:
Conidiophores unbranched, macronematous. 5-6-8-septate, 45-65um x 6-7.5um (at larger end in culture). End cells paler, base to 4.5um. Cessation schizolytic, leaving slight frills on both conidiophore and conidium (and thus excluding this from Endophragmia and its allies). No sign of catenation. Thick walled conidia euseptate (but looking pseudoseptate due to thickness). Nothing in Wenping or Matsushimas publications. Why not Endophragima alternata (sensu E&E non sensu Tubaki) = S. goidanichii
