Public Note:
Conidiophores pale tan, branched at right angles, to 250um, gradually tapered, 3.5um diam max, conidia tightly coiled to 4 times, to 20um diam, filament to 2um. In this case hard to say if macro or micronematous. Conidia borne on both 'conidiophore' like tapering hyphae (bt those without pegs) and the general mat. If macronemtaous then Helicosporium and close to guianensis/griseum. Leave as Helicomyces for the moment and if so then New to New Zealand. Reported to MAF 2/07/2010. slide only
