Specimen notes
Public Note:
Cap cinammon-sienna, palet at margin, deeply inrolled (nearly secotioid), ruggulose, depressed at centre, 5-8cm. Gills D-E thick and widely spaced. Lamellulae infrequent but anastomising with main lamella. Stem 1.5x8 E darkening on handling tapered slightly at either end, more towards base. Smell chlorine (not mentioned in description), taste hot. Spores 10-12um. By similarity with sequenced material this is 'seven'. Cap has a thin fragile cuticle in dried material, and this has the fine trichoderm? Appears to have fewer of the broad cap cystidia elements than PL12155, but still pale yellow in KOH.. Spores length=7.5–9.3µm (µ=8.6, σ=0.5), width=6.3–8.0µm (µ=7.1, σ=0.5), Q=1.1–1.3µm (µ=1.22, σ=0.08), n=20, ornamentation to 1.3um
