17th Fungal Foray of New Zealand; On dead decorticated Coprosma wood. Red perithecia usually in small clusters and usually assoc. with one or more of the Tubercularia synnemata. Ann\lquotes herbarium number is 831.
This specimen fits nicely into Nectria pseudotrichia Berk. & Curt. and the anamorph into Tubercularia lateritia (Berk.) Seifert.
