Public Note:
spores not dextrinoid. Spores 12 x 6 barely ornamented. O1,O2,D0,D1. Cystidia clavate to clavate ventricose. Full length lamellae > 30. Pat does not mention the odour. This apears to have cortina remnants at stem apex and cap edge. Section Hebeloma in H. mesophaeum group, but spores too long for that sp. Is not consistent with H. populinum. [Sep. 2016] despite this description the sequence clearly says H. velutipes.
