Public Note:
sp. nov.Not brevispora. Conidia are small like this sp. but phialides are in whorls not concentrated. Not Z. novae-zelandiae because this has verrucose apex to conidiophore. Note difference to Selenosporella verticillata. That with extended denticulate holoblastic condidigenous cells, this with eneteroblastic short phialidic cells. [19/01/2006] Holotype of Z. urewera. Reported to MAF 2/07/2010 [JAC] subsequent examination of conidiogensous cells under SEM suggests this is Selenosporella.
