Specimen notes
Public Note:
REB "solitary under leptospermum scoparium, deformed as emerging through crack in dry soil". Cap minutely felty. Exuding yellow pigment into KOH. A broad intertwtined cutis. Hymeniunm with broad yellow oleiferous hyphae (in KOH). Appears to have filiform cystidia but I suspect this is an artefact - see sequence equivalent PDD72881. Spores length=9.0-12.6µm (µ=10.2, σ=0.77), width=4.0-5.6µm (µ=4.8, σ=0.35), Q=1.6-2.7µm (µ=2.14, σ=0.24), n=20. Much tissue collapsed. This is convincing material of B. rawlingsii.
