Specimen notes
Public Note:
Pileus to 20mm. Stipe to 6cm. No ring or veil. Pileipellis hymeniform, with short lecythiform cystidia, 24 x 5um at apex, some encrusted. 4-spored, large germ pores, spores to 20 x 10um. Caulocystidia similar to PC, fascicles of lecythiform cystidia and short hairs. Cheilocystidia distinctly lecythiform, more so than PC, The material is consistent with the northern hemisphere C. pubescens, although the spores perhaps a little long. This species needs recollection and sequencing, especially to confirm the blueing of PP elements with alakali noted by Watling. It does see that couplet 6 in Ann's key has swapped entries.
