Specimen notes
Public Note:
The collection is not associated with a coremial state, and the attached notes do not indicate that. There are no " minute, spherical, blackish structures at the base of the stipe". One fruitbody does have a velutinate lower stem. The hyphae of this covering are thick-walled, brown and unclamped. They may belong to another fungus. Morphologically the collection is P. purpureo-olivaceus.
