Specimen notes
Public Note:
Spore morphology is similar, but perhaps less pronounced, than PDD87015 originally as Descomyces 'Orton Bradley'. However, that specimen has a sequence identical to others without the reticulation at all (i.e. Descomyces not Timgrovea). A constant character in all those is the snout emerging from the epispore. If so then Timgrovea not a good genus and all are Descomyces. And this possibly the same as 'Orton Bradley' except that with tea-tree and this with Eucalyptus. This material is also very similar to NZ collection of Descomyces giachinii, also with Eucalyptus.
