Public Note:
Apothecia stipitate, hairs pale brown, hymenium reddish. Excipulum short-cylindric, thick-walled cells about 8-12 x 5-7 µm. Paraphyses lanceolate, up to 4-5 µm dima., tapering to small rounded apex, extending 15-20 beyond asci. Asci 40-45 x 5 µm, blue in IKI and MLZ, no croziers. Spores 7-9.5 x 1.5-2.5 (average 8.2 x 1.9 µm), cylindric, not tapering to broad rounded ends, straight, 0-septate.
