Specimen notes
Public Note:
Culture (JMD 583) from this specimen deposited as CBS 246.63 by John Webster as 'J.M. Dingley No. 11'
P.R. Johnston, 2014
Public Note:
Ostioles darkened but not obviously papillate (but similar to the type specimen), asci about 90-100 x 4.5-5 µm, spores coloured, ornamented walls, (3.5-)4-5 (-7) x 3-4.5 µm, average 4.6 x 3.8 µm. Morphology fits pretty well but Immature stromata seem to be darker than the immature stromata of the type of H. tawa.
