Specimen notes
Public Note:
CBS 247.63, deposited in CBS by John Webster as Dingley No. 3, was probably grown from this specimen. Dingley collected two Hypocrea specimens from Te Aroha, PDD 10466 in 1948 and PDD 15545 in 1954. A set of Dingley cultures was deposited in CBS by John Webster in 1963; all of the others were from Dingley specimens collected between 1953 and 1956, making it highly likely that CBS 247.63 was grown from PDD 15545.
