Public Note:
Common on the adaxial leaf surfaces of mataira (Myrsine chathamica). Noted as black glossy spots on leaves, infected areas chlorotic / yellowish, 3-6 mm diameter, more or less circular or oval, those bearing ascomata maturing black, glossy, and raised. Ostioles prominent, sunken.
