Pileus 38-48 mm, dry; lamellae adnexed, close, pale brown when young; stipe 35-50 x 8-10 mm, 12-20 mm at base, clavate to bulbous, staining reddish brown where bruised; general veil leaving a pseudo-annulus on the stipe; cortina whitish; context cream in the cap, marbled with some brownish in the stipe, slowly staining brown when cut; odour of raw potato with an honey component, taste more or less of raw potato.
