Collection D2632 had four discomycetes growing more or less sympatrically on the same fronds: 1) Trichopeziza sp (sessile disc, long yellow smooth-walled hairs, PDD 121207); 2) Trichopeziza sp. (sessile disc, long white smooth-walled hairs, PDD 121208); 3) Lachnopsis cf. TTT1310 (small, white, stipitate disc, short rough walled hairs, PDD 121209); 4) Lachnopsis sp. cf purple-brown (small, pale brown, stipitate disc, short rough walled hairs, PDD 121210).
Public Note:
The two Trichopeziza spp. have excipulum comprising globose cells; the yellow species (PDD 212107) has paraphyses lanceolate, 3.5 µm diam., ascospores 15-20 x 2.5-3 µm; the white species (PDD 212108) has paraphyses sublanceolate, 2.5 µm diam., ascospores 22-37 x 2.5-3.5 µm.
