9-24 mm across. Pale grey-brown, felty. Slightly darker brown in center of disk and more pale tan towards margin. Flesh: Flesh translucent creamy-yellow with lilac at stipe apex. Lilac area larger when young. Lamellae: Warm tan.OAC 770 with faint lilac tinge when young Cortina colour: Pale ochraceous or orange Stipe: 52-7 x 2-3 mm, clavate, white with some girdles and tufts on lower 2/3, lilac apex. KOH Nil
