Pileus 15-34 mm diam, convex, tawny brown, dry, with scattered fine scales concolorous to pileus. Lamellae yellow-brown. Annulus robust, pale yellow- brown, distinctly striate on upper surface, cottony. Stipe 2-4 mm diam x 25-45 mm long, central, tapering slightly to apex, pale cream.
