Pileus 8-15mm diam x 4-8 mm high, convex, pale mustard brown to pale butterscotch, dry, with a few scattered fine scales which are slightly darker color than pileus. Lamellae rusty yellow, free to finely adnate. Annulus obvious, pale cream, distinctly striate on upper surface, smooth lower, cottony. Stipe 3-4 mm diam x 30-45mm long, central, cylindrical with slightly bulbouse base, very pale yellow brown, dry, fibrous, hollow central strand.
