Public Note:
Cap 10-22 cm across. Convex-hemispheric when young. Smooth, rubbery-firm. Moist to sticky. Margin only very obscurely translucent-striate at maturity. Ochre-tan to leather brown.
Gills adnate. Pallid rusty tan to ochre.
Stipe 17-25 x 2-4 mm. Whitish.
Partial veil rather membranous, persistent, upper surface with faint lines/grooves, dusted with brown spores.
Clumped clustered in moss on hardwood branch.
